Instead of jumping between different websites, apps and sources, Muntside aims to create one place where outdoor enthusiasts can discover places, plan adventures, find useful information and explore new activities.

Muntside's mission is simple: make the mountains easier to explore, understand and enjoy.
Outdoor information is often scattered across dozens of platforms, local websites, maps and communities. Muntside wants to bring that knowledge together and make it accessible through one intuitive platform.
The goal is to help people discover new places, prepare better for their adventures and confidently explore beyond what they already know — whether that means finding a new hiking trail, discovering a via ferrata, locating a mountain hut or trying an entirely new outdoor activity.
At its core, Muntside is about encouraging exploration while promoting preparation, knowledge and respect for the mountain environment.
Who is behind MUNTSIDE?
Muntside was created by Gerson Paulo, a Portuguese outdoor enthusiast living in Switzerland.
Surrounded by the Alps and with a growing passion for hiking, via ferrata, photography and mountain exploration, Gerson started noticing the same problem again and again: valuable information existed, but it was spread across countless websites, applications and local sources.
What began as an idea for a website collecting useful mountain information gradually evolved into something much bigger.
Muntside is the result of that evolution — a project created from the perspective of someone who actually goes into the mountains, searches for routes, plans adventures and understands how useful it would be to have everything in one place.
And this is only the beginning.
